Un know-how senza precedenti, una ricchezza di materie prime selezionate con cura, lavorate e tagliate in modo attento e scrupoloso sono gli elementi distintivi di Petramundi che creano una catena di valore incomparabile che soddisfa le esigenze di una clientela meticolosa e consolidata nel tempo.

1930

Inizia l’attività di commercio di Diamanti e perle naturali, dando inizio alla tradizione della famiglia Gay.

1949

Franco ottiene la sua prima licenza e inizia l’attività di commercio di gemme e gioielli, supportato dalle competenze del padre.

1953

Nasce e prospera la Società “Adamantem” a Torino, specializzata nel commercio dei diamanti.

1970-1972

Domenico esplora mercati e mate- riali in India, Sri Lanka, Colombia, Anversa, Tel Aviv, Bombay, Thailandia, Giappone, Australia, Indonesia, Birmania e Nigeria.

1972-1983

I figli di Domenico, Rocco, Tommaso e Pietro, entrano a far parte della Stainston in tempi diversi.

2002

Tommaso si trasferisce a Bangkok per dirigere la taglieria Rough&Gems.

2008

Nasce Petramundi srl, guidata da Rocco, con una vocazione verso il mondo delle Fiere internazionali.

2017

Rocco e Pietro costituiscono la Taglieria Petralab srl dedicata al taglio delle gemme.

2020

Petralab srl assorbe diverse piccole taglierie valenzane, creando una delle ta- glierie più strutturate e con maggiore esperienza d’Italia.

2021

Petramundi srl assorbe tutte le attività della Petralab srl, creando un’unica società.

Since 2015 Hemmerle has participated at the fair, where it exhibits its contemporary creations. Inspiring a unique spirit of collecting, PAD epitomises how historical Design, modern et contemporary Design, modern art, decorative and tribal arts interact to reveal astonishing combinations and create the most individual and staggering interiors.

ROCCO GAY

Rocco Gay is a distinguished figure in the gemstone in- dustry, with a career spanning over three decades. His extensive experience and deep knowledge of gemsto- nes have established him as a trusted leader and in- novator in the field. As the CEO of Petramundi, Rocco’s vision and dedication drive the company’s commitment to excellence, heritage, and social responsibility. Education and Certifications Rocco holds several prestigious certifications and accre- ditations, including: GIA Graduate Gemologist: Comprehensive training in gem identification and diamond grading. AIGS Certification: Expertise from the Asian Institute of Gemological Sciences. ICA Vice Presidency: Active leadership role in the Inter- national Colored Gemstone Association.

PIETRO GAY

Master Craftsman and Industry Leade ietro Gay, a pivotal figure in the gemstone industry, has dedicated over 25 years to mastering the art and science of gemology. As the Factory Director and Co-Owner of Petramundi, Pietro’s expertise and lea- dership are instrumental in maintaining the high stan- dards of quality and craftsmanship that define our brand. Education and Certifications Pietro’s impressive credentials include: GIA Graduate Gemologist: Comprehensive training in gem identification and diamond grading from the Ge- mological Institute of America. Professional Achievements Pietro’s career is distinguished by significant contribu- tions and achievements: Master Cutter and Technician: Leading a team of ma- ster cutters and utilizing advanced CNC technology to achieve precision in every gemstone.
